Sunday evening and all is quiet after several days of having family here. As many of you know that Kathie and Pam's father passed away June 5th. Kathie drove out to Lexington on Saturday and on Sunday they drove to northwestern PA where the funeral out there was on Monday. Drove back to Lexington on Tuesday and on Wednesday drove to St. Louis to connect with Beth, Mady and Anna. They got into Cape late afternoon but had supper ready for them. Casey, Emily, Derek and Stratton were here for supper. The service on Thursday was at 11AM at the cemetery. My family came back here for lunch and they just relaxed. Dinner that evening was here along with Calvin's mother and John's daughter and granddaughter. Friday and Saturday were down days however Kathie did go into school to do some catching up. Friday night we went to pizza at their favorite place and then down to the old courthouse grounds where there are free concerts on Friday evenings which they enjoyed and got to see people they hadn't seen for awhile. Know that the girls have appreciated your thoughts and prayers during this time. Understand that they have a lot of "facebook" connections so that is great. t

It sounds like it has been a long week for them. I have been thinking about them all week and hope they are dealing as best they can with their father's passing.
